Preparation
Please remember to bring your textbook and all relevant class materials to each tutoring session, such as solution manuals, class handouts, practice problems, notes, calculators, laptops, paper, and pencil.
If you want me to do individualized preparation for your appointment, you need to give me information on what topics you want to cover. If you have lecture slides, handouts, or practice problems, sending these to me (with keys if you have them) gives me insight into what topics your teacher is covering, how things are being explained, and what is being emphasized. The farther in advance I receive this information, the more time I have to look it over.
Payment
I take cash or check (whichever is more convenient for you), paid at each session. Payment in advance is also an option.
Cancellations
For cancellations, I need at least 24 hours’ advance notice. If I don’t get this advance notice, then I will have to charge for the tutoring session. This is because cancelled appointments still cost me money and time (for example, preparation time). If you know you need to cancel an appointment, please tell me as soon as you can. Thank you.
