In Person Tutoring
If you are in the Olympia, Washington area you can meet me for an in person tutoring session. Quiet work spaces such as library study rooms work best, but other spaces such as public libraries or coffee shops are also options.
Online Tutoring
I also tutor online through Skype and other similar video calling services.
Tutoring Styles
Different students have different needs and working styles. Some students bring a list of questions that we go through one at a time. Other students want mini lectures that go over specific topics in detail. While others learn best by going through a series practice problems to build up their problem-solving skills.
I work with each student individually to figure out what tutoring style, or combination of styles, is going to work best for them.
Days and Times
I tutor afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday (PST). Right now I am most available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Some students have regular appointments, and others choose to schedule week by week. Either method of scheduling is fine, but the longer in advance an appointment is scheduled, the more options there will be.
Scholarship Options
Because I want to make my services accessible to people in a variety of financial situations, I do have a number of reduced cost scholarships available for those who need it. Please let me know if this is something you would like more information about.
